Eduardo is one of only four people included on the list from the Latin American Operators. Under Mr. Falzoni’s leadership, GlobeNet has evolved its portfolio from network and Capacity services (core business) to a compelling new suite of offerings including IP, IaaS and Security solutions, all supported by its award-winning, low latency and ultra-resilient 23,500-kilometer subsea cable system and IT infrastructure. Eduardo is a regular speaker at industry events and recently was present at Capacity Latam (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), Telecom Xchange (New York, USA) and Futurecom (Sao Paulo, Brazil).
In 2017 GlobeNet expanded its colocation facilities in Rio de Janeiro and built a new data center facility in Barranquilla, Colombia, in order to meet growing demand for wholesale telco and IT services in the Latin American market. Both highly secured facilities will maintain GlobeNet’s legacy of neutral interconnections for international and local operators as well as enable access to international destinations via its subsea cable system.
“This year, we were thrilled to receive six international industry awards in recognition of our work digitally transforming the Americas,” says Eduardo Falzoni, CEO of GlobeNet “The pinnacle of our success came just a few weeks ago when we received the Best Regional Wholesale Operator award at the 2017 World Communication Awards in the United Kingdom. For us, this was the perfect way to end the year and validate all our efforts to stay true to our motto “Ready today for tomorrow.”
