GlobeNet wins Best Data Center Service Provider Award 2018
Best Data Center Service Provider and North America Regional Operator of the Year.
GlobeNet has won in two categories of the Global Carrier Community 2018 Awards – Best Data Center Service Provider and North America Regional Operator of the Year. Presented on June 18 at the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) 2018 GCCM, the awards distinguish innovative achievements among telecom wholesale operators from both a regional and global perspective. An independent panel of analysts and industry experts reviewed and assessed all submissions, bolstering the prestigious nature of the awards.
“At GlobeNet, we concentrate on delivering leading class network support services for OTTs, cloud providers, internet service providers, governments and enterprises across a variety of verticals,” says Eduardo Falzoni, CEO of GlobeNet. “Our clients choose us because of our strong and solid infrastructure, as well as our expert team members who consistently demonstrate their ability to address our customers’ varied requests successfully. We are pleased that the distinguished panel of Global Carrier Community Awards judges sees us as a key element in boosting the growth of IT services throughout the Americas, and helping our clients expand and enhance their own network infrastructures.”
As an independent organization, GlobeNet offers an open and neutral environment for telecom operators, providing exceptional redundancy and the lowest latency connectivity available in the Atlantic. The company designed its newest ICREA Level IV certified data center in Barranquilla, Colombia, to meet growing regional demand for wholesale telco, high-speed data and IT services. In March, the facility received ICREA’s Green Seal certification for the use of environmentally-sustainable practices regarding its operations and maintenance.
From a subsea perspective, GlobeNet recently announced its plans for a new, state-of-the-art cable that will connect Argentina with Brazil and the United States. This significant addition to GlobeNet’s network comes as enterprises increasingly shift their applications to cloud platforms and OTTs look to improve their distribution networks for end-users in the Southern Cone of South America. With this investment, GlobeNet continues to demonstrate its commitment to satisfying its customers’ needs – now and in the future – for a variety of IP, IaaS and network security solutions.
