GlobeNet has once again won the Best Social Media Campaign Award at Capacity Awards
This marks the second year in a row that GlobeNet has been recognized as the best Social Media influencer.
With an active physical presence throughout the Americas as well as on social media, GlobeNet has once again won the Best Social Media Campaign Award at this year’s Capacity Global Carrier Awards. The awards, which are the largest celebration of innovation and excellence for the wholesale telecom industry, took place on October 24th at the Troxy Theatre in London.
Over the past year, GlobeNet has worked hard to drive regional economic development in the South American markets. With recent investments in its terrestrial infrastructure, including a new data center in Colombia and an internet exchange point (IXP) in northern Brazil, the company provides carriers, content providers, internet service providers and other enterprises easier access to a variety of network and Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) solutions.
Moreover, in the third quarter of 2018, GlobeNet announced the development of the Malbec cable to Argentina – the first new subsea infrastructure to connect the country since 2001. Together with promoting these moves through direct campaigns and social media, GlobeNet has cemented its reputation as an innovative network operator in the Latin American region.
“I am quite thrilled that GlobeNet has received the Best Social Media Campaign award,” comments Eduardo Falzoni, CEO of GlobeNet. “Since January, our team has been heavily focused on improving our infrastructure throughout the Latin American region. Social media has proven to be a vital means for us to build awareness of these projects and influence the region’s key telecommunications stakeholders to take advantage of our evolving portfolio of leading-class network, IaaS and colocation services. Furthermore, by listening to our customers through our social channels, we are able to deliver the right solutions at the right time to meet their needs now and in the future.”
