Over the past year, GlobeNet has worked hard to drive regional economic development in the South American markets. With recent investments in its terrestrial infrastructure, including a new data center in Colombia and an internet exchange point (IXP) in northern Brazil, the company provides carriers, content providers, internet service providers and other enterprises easier access to a variety of network and Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) solutions.
Moreover, in the third quarter of 2018, GlobeNet announced the development of the Malbec cable to Argentina – the first new subsea infrastructure to connect the country since 2001.
