GlobeNet shortlisted in 3 categories for 2019 Datacloud Global Awards

More and more recognition on our efforts connecting the Americas.

GlobeNet has been shortlisted in three categories for the 12th Annual Datacloud Global Awards. These prestigious awards recognize the teams, products, innovations, initiatives and projects that demonstrate data center, Edge and cloud innovation and service excellence. The winners will be selected by an independent and international panel of judges and will be announced at the award dinner and ceremony taking place June 4, 2019, at Le Sporting Club in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
“The GlobeNet team is honored to be shortlisted for not one, but three Datacloud Global Awards,” states Eduardo Falzoni, CEO at GlobeNet. “Over the past year and a half we’ve opened a top-of-the-line data center in Barranquilla, Colombia, announced our forthcoming 2,500 km ‘Malbec’ subsea cable to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and partnered with Brazil’s Network Information Center, to implement a crucial new Internet exchange point (IX) in Fortaleza, Brazil. These nominations validate the hard work and substantial investments we’ve made to our terrestrial and subsea infrastructure, while also ensuring that we are helping our customers lower operating and capital expenditures, so they can maintain scalable growth for years to come.”
Over the last two years, GlobeNet has grown its portfolio of core network and capacity services into a compelling new suite of IP, IaaS, cloud and security solutions. By providing a presence at the most important exchange points in the Americas, GlobeNet empowers its partners to meet their control and connectivity needs with GlobeNet’s wide range of secure, reliable, low latency data services.
GlobeNet is shortlisted in the following Data Cloud Awards categories:
  • Excellence in Regional Data Centre Award – Americas
  • Global Connectivity Innovator of the Year
