GlobeNet Named Frost & Sullivan’s 2019 Company of the Year, Carrier of Carrier Services in Latin America

GlobeNet’s win for third year in a row highlights company’s extensive work to transform Latin America into a digital hotspot.

GlobeNet has been named Frost & Sullivan’s 2019 Company of the Year, Carrier of Carrier Services in Latin America. This marks the third year in a row that GlobeNet has received this prestigious award, which recognizes demonstrated excellence in growth, innovation and leadership.
This year, the Frost & Sullivan judges were interested in companies that are helping Latin American economies and internet users overcome bottlenecks caused by skyrocketing traffic in legacy network infrastructure. Thanks to ongoing investments in infrastructure and service innovations, GlobeNet stood out as a network provider that can deliver a complete package of services. With a robust, expanding subsea cable network and a suite of IP, IaaS, Cloud and Security solutions, the company is heavily contributing to socio-economic growth throughout the region.
“It is completely accurate to say that GlobeNet is dedicated to long-term development throughout Latin America,” says Eduardo Falzoni, CEO of GlobeNet. “We’re on a mission to give carriers, OTTs, cloud providers and other enterprises a wide range of connectivity options to improve quality of service and grow their presence throughout the Americas and beyond. As an example, we’re eager to leverage our new Malbec subsea cable to Argentina. A second, equally critical part of our strategy to stimulate growth is to invest in expanded data center connections. The goal is to continue delivering robust, reliable local access points for managed colocation, virtualization and cloud connection services.”
